Phase Two of Elimination of Child Labour 2017 to 2021 has been launched


Phase Two of the National Plan of Action for the Elimination of Child Labour 2017 to 2021 has been launched in Okonam in the Eastern Region.  

The goal of phase two of the National Plan of Action is to reduce child labour to at least 10percent by 2021.

The Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Ignatius Baffour Awuah in a message said the action plan will also mobilize more resources, focus actions on local communities and strengthen educational outcomes that will retain children in school.
