Police say investigations ongoing into assault on Adom FM Reporter

The Director General of Police Public Affairs, ACP David Eklu says investigations are still ongoing into the case involving the assault of a Multimedia journalist by an NPP supporter Hajia Fati. 

He said although Hajia Fati is on the bail, investigations does not end there. 

Speaking on GBC’s Current Affairs Programme, “Behind the News,” ACP Eklu said the police will give details of the case should something be established.

Hajia Fati slapped a Multimedia journalist at the party’s headquarters a day after Ghana hosted World Press Freedom Day.

The journalist, Ohemaa Sakyiwaa Ahwenepa, had been taking a photo of the vociferous woman whose refusal for a party member to pick nomination forms was causing a scene.
