The Ghanaian Times writes that it is time to stop attack on journalists. It agrees with the position of the Ghana Journalists Association, GJA, for the New Patriotic Party to disassociate itself from the conduct of Hajia Fati, a party member who assaulted a female journalist at the party's headquarters. In the paper's view, Hajia Fati's conduct will drag the name of the party into the gutters. The  paper suggests the creation of an institution to summon and bring to book people who have the penchant to attack and abuse the rights of individuals and institutions that provide information to citizens.

The Daily Heritage also writes on issues affecting Journalists. It says heart attack, heart failure and stroke are the major causes of death among journalists. It says not long ago, the media mourned ace broadcaster, Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong, called  KABA and Alhaji Bature. The paper says Journalists work under extreme pressure and are exposed to conditions that precipitate high blood pressure and attendant complications. It therefore encourages journalists to make time for blood pressure checkups to avoid sudden deaths. 

The Daily Graphic urges the MMDA's to be proactive and innovative in their approach to generating funds internally. The paper also calls on the MMDA's to shift from  dependence on central government for development projects . It advises that MMDA's also develop and make their areas attractive to  foreign investors, so as to rake in more revenue.
