Association of Women in Media re-launched As Ghana prepares to host this year’s World Press Freedom Day, women in the media have been challenged to use their medium to influence policy decisions in the society. They should also use their platforms to highlight stories on women who have excelled and also condemn incessant attack on women in the country. Speaking at the re-launch of the Association of Women in Media in Accra, The Deputy Minister of Information, Nana Dokuwah Esiama Agyei said women in media should not sit aloof whiles other women suffer attacks. The President of GJA, Affail Monney entreated members of ASWIM to bring together all female journalists under its umbrella. He said although there may be challenges, women in the inky fraternity should not be discouraged. GBCONLINE ---DECRYPTED---
