President Akufo-Addo to launch Nation Builders Corps today The Nation Builders Corps will be launched today as part of activities to mark this year's May Day. It seeks to tackle graduate unemployment in Ghana and set to be launched by President Akufo-Addo. While commending government for the initiative and describing it as a step in the right direction, Deputy Secretary General of the Trades Union Congress, Joshua Ansah said the focus of the Builders Corps must ensure that the right and decent jobs are created to solve the issues of unemployed graduates. Mr Ansah who was speaking on our news and current affairs programme ‘Behind The News’, entreated Government to create an enabling environment for the private sector to grow in order to create more employment opportunities to better the lives of Ghanaians. He further appealed to Government to take a critical look at wages and salaries of workers which he described as nothing to write home about. On labour related problems, Mr Ansah called on government to put in place the full membership of the National Labour Commission to help address some of these labour issues. GBCONLINE ---DECRYPTED---
