Japan Gov’t signs ¥10m support deal with Ghana As part of deepening bilateral relations and improve grassroot development, the government of Japan has signed a grant agreement amounting to ten million yen with Ghana to construct drains, CHPS compounds, classroom blocks and mechanised boreholes in some Municipal and District Assemblies in the country. The Japanese Ambassandor to Ghana Tsutomu Himeno at the signing ceremony said the projects come under a scheme dubbed 'Grant Assistance for Grassroot Human Security' to support communities in Ghana.
