Second Lady launches first maternal and child health booklet

The wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Samira Bawumia has urged all stakeholders in health care delivery to ensure that maternal mortality reduces to its barest minimum. 

She noted that though Ghana is striving to address the challenge, more efforts must be put in, to prevent deaths among children under five years. 

Mrs. Bawumia made the point when she launched the new combined maternal and child health record book, the first of its kind in the sub region in Cape Coast.
