Principle of Bolgatanga Nursing Training College asked to step aside 

The Principal of the Bolgatanga Nursing Training College in the Upper East Region, Bawa Awula has been asked to step aside over allegations of abuse of office and misappropriation of funds. 

Two tutors of the College have also been transferred to different Colleges on the same issue. 

The Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Health, Robert Cudjoe said the Principal has admitted to the allegations of financial malfeasance and agreed to refund the money.

Speaking to Radio Ghana’s Ibrahim Kwarteng, Mr. Cudjoe said the Principal of Damango Nursing Training College has been asked to take over the affairs of the College till investigations into the matter are concluded.

A tutor of the College also confirmed the embezzlement allegation.
