The Daily Graphic expresses joy over government's approval for the employment of fifty new lawyers in addition to the existing three hundred. This is because more state attorneys are needed for effective justice delivery. The paper however recommends that since the A-G has indicated that her outfit needs about three hundred more lawyers, government should meet them half way by considering about one hundred and fifty more applications. The Graphic believes that although such a number will call for more financial commitment from government, the move will save the nation millions of cedis.

The Ghanaian Times says the issue of corruption is getting out of hands. It cites the failure of the Wa East Assembly to account for more than GH¢7,000 of school feeding funds for 2015 when it appeared before the Public Accounts Committee sitting in the Northern Region. The Paper prays that the clear signal that the Special Prosecutor nominee gave during his vetting will be a positive way to deal with public official engaged in corruption. It therefore behooves on all to exercise restraint in mismanaging public funds so as not fall into the hands of the Special Prosecutor.
                            
The Daily Heritage discusses the upsurge in the establishment of churches saying day in day out prayer camps and new churches spring up to provide salvation to many who are troubled, afflicted and impoverished but some have also taken undue advantage and are exploiting unsuspecting people. It says some of the prayer camps and churches ask people to come for spiritual baths and name witches, wizards in one's family and give alarming prophesies. The Heritage urges the security agencies to investigate some of these churches and clamp down on them.
