POP Star Rihanna in Senegal to galvanise support for education of children worldwide 

Canadian Pop-Star Rihanna has arrived in Senegal for the Global Partnership for Education Summit. 

She will be there in her role as ambassador for the organisation, which is hoping to secure 3 billion dollars to help fund the education of eight hundred and seventy million children worldwide.

Since her arrival yesterday, Rihanna has sent a series of tweets to world leaders asking them to pledge money to fund the education of children worldwide. 

Her tweets seem to have worked as the UK has pledged two hundred and twenty-five million pounds while Australia offered ninety million dollars.
