3rd February, 2018 The Daily Graphic commends President Akufo-Addo for the bold step he took to suspend the Upper West Regional Minister, Alhaji Suleiman Alhassan, for his role in the release of persons who raided the offices of NADMO. The Graphic says it recognises the fact that the step is to allow investigation into the matter. This it says will surely send a strong signal to his own party and close associates that enough is enough and that they cannot hold the nation to ransom any longer. The Graphic says it is time to review the practice where politicians chaired regional and district security committees so that the Police will not be obliged to obey their orders, as such orders have the tendency to compromise peace in the community. The Ghanaian Times welcomes the Vice President back from his medical leave. The paper believes his return will bring to an end the rumours about his health and stop others who are demanding for the full disclosure of his state of health. The paper joins the campaign on healthy living and urges Ghanaians to join in by eating whole grain foods, vegetables, fruits and also to have enough rest. The Paper particularly calls on workers to see annual leave as part and parcel of their rest and not to forgo it and pretend are indispensable. ---DECRYPTED---
