Human Rights Group demands arrest of Assin Fosu Chief for concealing defilement

Youth for Human Rights Africa, a pressure group is demanding the arrest of the chief of Assin Fosu for concealing a defilement case involving a four year old child. 

Speaking to George Asekere on GBC’s ‘Behind the News’, Communications Director of the group, Christopher Anku said the case is a human rights issue that must be tackled head on. 

He said, though the police have taken up the matter, they have also petitioned CHRAJ and intend to petition the Gender Ministry and the Presidency to ensure that justice is served to the family of the child.
