Pentecostal and Charismatic Council commiserates with Atomic gas explosion victims The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) has expressed its condolences to the families of the deceased in last Saturday’s gas explosion at the Atomic Junction in Accra. The GPCC in a statement commended the security services and the NADMO for their prompt and professional response to the emergency which averted a greater catastrophe. It noted with concern, the high rate of gas explosions in the country and called on authorities to strictly enforce the laws governing the siting and operation of such facilities to avoid future occurrences. The statement also admonished management of fuel and gas depots, especially those operating in densely populated areas, to endeavour to adhere to all safety regulations, and operate within the confines of the law.
