The Ghanaian Times discusses the Chief Justice's sermon to lawyers, saying it is important that the leadership takes appropriate steps to weed out the few who are working assiduously towards destroying the noble profession. The paper said the nation requires the services of a clean judiciary as it strives to protect the right and freedoms of citizens as well as ensure the security of lives and properties. The Ghanaian Times urges all lawyers and non-lawyers to support the Chief Justice and the Legal Council in cleaning the profession in order to restore it to its noble status.

The Daily Heritage says leading minds in society keep suggesting that one easy way of fighting the use of cannabis, known widely as 'wee' is to legalise it. The paper says legalising it is not the way to go.  Cultural and moral values always play out in every country and the mass usage of 'wee' can create a chaotic state. The paper said the nation must resist the temptation of lagalising anything considered immoral and criminal, lest Ghana will lick its finger in future.
