Niger restores Africa’s lost hope in FIFA U-17 match day-2

The Republic of the Niger national U-17 football team today (Sunday) put the hope of Africa back on track in match day 2 of the ongoing FIFA U-17 world cup tournament in India after beating the democratic republic korea by 1 goal nil at Jawaharlal Nehru International StadiumKochi (IND)  

Salim ABDOURAHMANE was the kinpin on the day after he landed on a fine cross from habibou sofiane to bury the ball at the back of the net for a debutant victory for Niger.  

Three teams are making their FIFA tournament debut in India and Niger is one of them, this shows how crucial the win meant for the West African country. 

Many football giants have fallen on the day as Groups C and D got underway at the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017. 

Brazil edged the headline match between the South American and European champions spain by winning 2-1 in regulation time.

And in other games Allahyar Sayyad’s hammered long-range shoot which went straight into the net for but the Africans showed fight at the death, as Toure added a consolation goal in second-half stoppage time.
