Vice President donates bus to St. Augustine`s College Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia made a detour to the St. Augustine College to donate a thirty- three seater coaster bus to the school. This is in fulfilment to a promise made to the school during their 80th anniversary this year. Vice President said government recognises the important role education plays in the economy hence it will not relent on its efforts to provide the necessary amenities for their smooth operation. He entreated the school authority to use the vehicle for its intended purpose. The Headmaster of the St Augustine's College, Joseph Connell, said over the years the college had challenges with transportation. However, old students intervened and provided a bus to complement the existing but old vehicles. He was grateful to the Vice President for honoring his promise and pledged the schools commitment to properly utilize the vehicle. He however had appealed to the President to supply the necessary logistics in the advent of the Free SHS.
