Judges, magistrates urged to deliver quality justice

Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo has called on judges and magistrates to deliver quality justice in order to win the confidence of the public.
 
She said this will go a long way to fulfill the mandate of the judiciary. 

The Chief Justice was speaking at the 37th annual general meeting of the Association of Magistrates and Judges of Ghana.
 
She explained that the confidence of the public will ensure that mob justice is curbed.

Justice Sophia Akuffo also cautioned judges and magistrates against keeping backlog of cases, because this dents the image of the judiciary.
