Ghana to host World Tourism Africa Summit In about a week, Ghana will host the World Tourism Africa Summit in Accra. According to the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Catherine Afeku, Ghana's Political Stability, rich Kente fabric and the distinct royal setting merited her choice to host the summit. Speaking on GBC's Behind the News, Mrs. Afeku called on all stakeholders to support Ghana in marketing the country's cultural potential to the world during the summit. Head of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality at the University of Cape Coast, Prof. Kwaku Boakye queried Accra being the venue for the summit when there are other regions with richer tourists attractions. He called on the industry and business community to make use of the opportunity to market their products. GBCONLINE ---DECRYPTED---
