Some MPs Raise Issues Over Cabinet Composition

Some members of parliament have questioned the rationale for the composition of the president's cabinet. 

According to them, some key ministers were expected to be part but when the list came out they were surprised. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana, they said the anticipated the senior Minister, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs to be part.

The Majority Leader and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu however, says the president put a lot of thought into composing the cabinet. 

He said regional, gender and other consideration is played out in forming cabinet.
