Migrants Workers Union supports govt in fight against illegal mining

The Migrants Labour General Workers Union of TUC, has thrown its weight behind government's clamp down on illegal mining to ensure that migrants who have willingly surrendered their mining equipment are offered a quota of alternative new jobs government intends to create.  

Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, General Secretary of the Union, Justice Baako Ntarmah said that is the only way to ensure that the people do not go back into the illegal mining business.
