President Mugabe's Zanu-PF 'party ships in cars for campaign'

President Robert Mugabe's ZANU-PF party is said to be shipping in brand new cars estimated at 60 million dollars for its campaign for the 2018 elections.

Mr. Mugabe's party posted a picture of the lined-up Ford Fiestas on its Facebook page last week with the caption ''New kids on the block: 2018 here we come'’.

The cars have the Zanu-PF flag embossed on their bonnets. 

Reports in January said the ruling party will buy at least 320 cars and trucks for its campaign. 

The vehicles are being brought into the southern African country in batches.

Cars are also to be brought in for at least 200 traditional chiefs.
