Power supply in Ghana to be interrupted - Energy Minister Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko says power supply in the country will be interrupted due to a planned shutdown of the Floating Production storage and Offloading (FPSO) Kwame Nkrumah. He said the FPSO which is expected to shut down for 12 weeks "will affect the Country's ability to export oil and gas to the Aboadze Thermal plant". Mr. Agyarko who was speaking at the National Policy Summit, in Accra said adequate preparations have been made to overcome the 12 week shutdown and its accompanying challenges. Mr. Agyarko said government’s commitment to the development of the energy sector remains intact as it remains the spine of the industrialisation policy of the Akufo-Addo led administration.
