Former President Mahama chairs inauguration of Obasanjo Centre for Governance & Development Former President John Mahama has challenged the three largest economies in Africa to spearhead regional economic development. He said if Nigeria, South Africa and Egypt become like Japan and China, it will propel immense growth on the continent. President Mahama was speaking at the inauguration of the Olusegun Obasanjo Centre for Good Governance and Development at the National Open University of Nigeria. He tasked the Centre to research into new and emerging development of African countries. The ceremony was to honour the former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo for his commitment and contribution to the promotion of education in Nigeria. GBC
