Alban Bagbin tipped to contest Presidency in election 2020

Calls seem to be piling up for one of the longest serving members of Parliament, Alban Bagbin to contest the 2020 general election as President. 

Mr. Bagbin's posters have popped up on social media with the slogan "Bagbin 2020, tried, tested and committed". 

According to his Special Aide, Joseph Konuba, the sources of the posters are being investigated to ascertain the intent of the organisers. 

However, the NDC needs a "middle ground" person for the next general election, and if Ghanaians want Mr Bagbin's candidature, he has no choice than to vouch. 

On Mr. Bagbin's reactions to his posters surfacing on social media, his aide Mr Konuba said Mr. Bagbin indicated that the public will know of his decision when nominations open for the 2020 election. 

For now, the NDC needs to concentrate on reorganising the party.
