Cyber Experts suggest diligent monitoring of media websites to avoid hacking

Recently, four media houses have had their web-sites hacked. Some experts have attributed the act to the non-vigilance by the media houses in taking steps to protect their cyber portals. 

Executive Director of E-Crime Bureau, Albert Antwi-Boasiako cautioned that hackers may assume multiple fronts in their attacks. 

He said though the exact source can be difficult to track, the information can serve as a cue for investigators who want to avert situations when a website is hacked.

Mr. Antwi-Boasiako pointed out that it is not a good practice for multiple websites to be hosted on a single server. 

He suggested the rigorous monitoring of websites by companies to avoid cyber-attacks.
