ISODEC reacts to ECG concession deal The Campaign Coordinator of ISODEC, Dr. Steve Manteaw, has indicated that it would have been more prudent for government to help ECG solve its problems than giving the concession to foreign investors. He said the challenges of ECG are not a matter of management and employees but the inability of government to pay ECG its debts which is about $700 million. Meanwhile, an Energy Expert, Kwame Jantuah says ECG will be effective if government takes its hands off the company. He said ECG should have the right to handle its distribution without any middleman. Speaking on GBC’s ‘Behind the News’, Mr Jantuah said article 71 should be amended to be in agreement with the laws of Ghana. GBC
