US President Donald Trump warns of major conflict in North Korea

US President Donald Trump has warned that a major conflict could break out with North Korea over its nuclear and missile programmes.

He said he will prefer a diplomatic outcome to the dispute, but that will be very difficult to achieve.

Earlier, his Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson said China in its toughest  threat yet,  had warned North Korea to expect sanctions if it carries out another nuclear test.
