The Spectator assesses President Akufo-Addo's 100 days in office. The paper says since President Franklin Roosevelt of the US used his first 100 days in office to lay the foundation for his government, the move has been replicated worldwide. Making reference to Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's comments on successes chalked up in the areas of health, agriculture, education  as well as the abolition of taxes on vehicle parts, the paper says though government  has  received lots of praises, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) thinks other-wise. The Spectator, however urges Ghanaians not to judge the performance of the government so early but wait patiently to assess it after its fourth year in office.  

The Catholic standard expresses the need to revive the National Arbor Day to reduce the level of environmental damage that result in climate change. The paper says, planting trees is a key factor to fighting environmental degradation and a way of preserving endangered species that protect the environment. It lauds government for banning the exportation of  Rose Wood saying, efforts made to curb destruction of farms and water-bodies through small-scale mining are in the right direction. The paper appeals to the public to help in the fight against indiscriminate felling of trees and all sort of destructions that deplete the environment.
