GHS, Operation Smile Ghana to organise cleft surgeries in Volta region

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) in conjunction with Operation Smile Ghana will from Thursday April 20 to May 1, undertake surgery to correct cleft and palate defects in children at the Volta Regional Hospital. 

This project which has existed since 2011 will see patients undergo surgery free of charge.

Speaking on the sidelines of the project, the International Co-ordinator of Operation Smile Ghana, Madison Ebil, encouraged all suffering from these defects to take advantage of the project to correct the defects.
