Two Injured In Clashes At Jagbana Near Chereponi In Northern Region Two persons have been injured following an attack on the Jagbana community on the Ghana Togo border near Chereponi in the Northern Region. The entire community is reported to have been burnt down and deserted as residents have fled across the border into neighbouring Togo. The cause of the attack remains sketchy but a source told our correspondent, Murtala Issah , in an interview that the people of Gagundi, a neighbouring community in Togo, have accused the Jagbana community of stealing their cattle. The Chief of Wenchiki, Abubakari Awufor who has jurisdiction over the area narrated the incident to our correspondent Murtala Issah. More updates soon. GBC
