Gunmen in Nigeria kill four policemen

Gunmen have shot dead four policemen, an army captain and a civilian in an attack on a community outside the country's commercial hub of Lagos.
 
The gunmen invaded Owutu-Ishawo in Ikorodu , and kidnapped some residents after looting their homes and shops.
 
The police and the army immediately mobilised personnel to the area where the kidnapped victims were rescued.
 
Police Spokesperson Olarinde Famous-Cole said personnel are combing surrounding forests and creeks in search of the attackers.
