2017 Easter road Safety campaign launched at Kpong

The 2017 Easter road safety campaign has been launched at Kpong in the lower Manya Krobo district in the Eastern Region.

The agenda is to beat last year's disturbing records of high numbers of road related deaths during Easter and also influence behaviour and highlight the disturbing trend of motorcycle deaths during Easter.

The Eastern Region according to the National Road Safety Commission records seven deaths daily through road accidents making the region the second highest behind Greater Accra.
