Transport fares upped by 15% from April 6

Transport fares have been increased by fifteen percent and will take effect on Thursday 6th April. 

This is as a result of an agreement reached between government and leadership of the transport groups.

Confirming the increment to Radio Ghana, Chairman of the GPRTU Kwame Kuma said the leadership will ensure that transport operators abide by the approved fares even though they are likely to round it off to the closest denomination.
