President Mahama ends upper east tour with appeal for more votes

President John Dramani Mahama has ended his four days campaign tour of the Upper East Region, with a call on the people in the region to vote massively for him and all the NDC parliamentary candidates in the region. 

He said plans are far advance to better the lives of the people in the region in his next four years term in office. 

He said a lot of developmental projects have been executed under his watch, hence the need for him to be given another term to continue his good works. 

He said even though the people in the region are still confronted with many challenges but when given the nod to serve them, pragmatic measures will be put in place to enhance the living standards of the people in the region and the country at large. 

He said over the years, his NDC led administration has proven to all Ghanaians that it does not discriminate when it comes to the distribution of development. 

He said his government sees every Ghanaian as a first class citizen in the country. He noted that his government has over the years assisted every citizen of this country in one way or the other irrespective of his or her political affiliation. 

The NDC Presidential candidate said when retained in power in the upcoming polls, Ghanaians will witness massive development because all the necessary foundations have been laid in his first four years term in office. 

He said his attention will now be on economic empowerment which will go a long way to put monies into the pockets of the good citizens in the country. 

He said all the economic indicators have shown clearly that the country has a brighter future. 

He said he and his able team have built a lot of schools, hospitals, provided numerous social interventions, job creation, roads construction among others.  

The NDC’s flagbearer further said anytime northerners enjoyed advanced development in all sectors of the economy, including healthcare, education and provision of water in the northern part of Ghana, it has been under an NDC government. 

He called on the  people in the Upper East Region to come out in their numbers on December 7 to vote massively for him and the National Democratic Congress, NDC, not because he is a northerner, but because the NDC has developed the north more than the opposition New Patriotic Party.
