Nana Addo upbeat about changing face of Ghana in 18 months The Presidential candidate of the NPP, Nana Akufo Addo has promised to change the face of the country within 18 months. He said the NPP has the men and women of integrity to take the country out of economic stagnation. Nana Addo who was speaking at a regional rally in Tamale in the Northern Region promised to build a Groundnut Processing plant in the region as part of his one District One Factory policy. Meanwhile, the Deputy Minority Leader, Dominic Nitiwul, says the NPP if elected into power will increase the peace keeping allowance from the current $31 a day to $35. The party has also promised to build Military, Police and Prison hospitals in the three regions of the north. He was speaking at the Party’s regional rally in Tamale. He said the life of the security forces will never be the same and asked them to be neutral in carrying out their duties during the election. Acting General Secretary John Boadu said on the day of the election vigilance is key. National Youth Organiser, Sammy Awuku said the election is about issues and not where one comes from. He said any party that campaigns on tribal lines has no message. GBC
