EC On Track For December Election - Charlotte Osei

The Electoral Commission (EC), has assured Ghanaians that it is on track and ready for citizens to elect a president and their parliamentary candidates on December 7. 

Chairperson of the EC, Mrs Charlotte Osei said, out of the 97 itemised requirements for the polls, 94 of the materials have already been deployed to the districts. 

Briefing Journalists in Accra, Mrs. Charlotte Osei announced that as a follow-up to the balloting, notice of polls for the presidential election will be announced tomorrow (November 11) after which ballots will be printed. 

Pink sheets will also be printed next week. 

The briefing which was hosted by the Editors Forum, Ghana, was to allow the EC to dialogue with the media to ensure better election reportage of the electoral process.
