Ghana Air Force donates decommissioned aircraft to UG

The School of Engineering Sciences of the University of Ghana (UG) has received a decommissioned aircraft from the Ghana Air Force for instructional purposes. 

It forms part of the faculty's preparation to establish a department for Aeronautics and Space Science Technology. 

Speaking at the handing over ceremony in Accra, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Maxwell Mantsebi-Tei Nagai said the partnership between the University and the Air Force will provide job placement opportunities for graduates from the faculty as Air force Officer Cadets among others.
