Picking number one means victory for the CPP in 2016 elections- Prof Edmund Delle The National Chairman of the Convention People’s Party CPP, Prof Edmund Delle, says picking the number one spot on the ballot paper for the 2016 election is a divine intervention to ensure victory for the CPP. He said God wants to reveal to Ghanaians ahead of the December 7 polls that he has destined the party’s presidential candidate, Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, to win the election. He said it is, therefore, not by chance that he is number one on the ballot paper. Speaking with journalists in Tamale during his campaign tour of the Northern Region, Prof Delle said the position of the CPP candidate will make it easy for the electorate to vote for him. He, therefore, urged them to focus their attention on the number one spot when casting their vote, and not to waste time to look elsewhere. Prof Delle congratulated Donald Trump on winning the US Presidential Election, while commending his contender, Hillary Clinton, for putting up a good fight. He said many people in America and around the world are shocked at the election of Mr Trump. This is because they did not give him any chance. Prof Delle said similar shock waves will sweep across Ghana after the December 7 polls when Mr Greenstreet is declared President of Ghana. He said Americans have already shown that it is possible to elect an outsider as president. It is also possible to make a person with disability, president. He said 24 years of NDC and NPP administration have brought nothing but hardship to Ghanaians and promised that a CPP government will restore hope to the people. GBC
