Livestock Policy launched 

The Minister of Food and Agriculture, Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Limuna says a Livestock Policy has been formulated to address the challenges confronting the livestock sub-sector.

In a speech read on his behalf Alhaji Limuna said excessive importation of livestock and its allied products especially poultry has increased incidence of emerging animal diseases.

He made this observation at the launch of the Ghana Livestock Policy Development Strategy document in Accra.
