GCPP confident of winning legal suit against EC The disqualified Presidential candidate of the Great Consolidated Popular Party, GCPP, Dr Henry Lartey says he is not giving up on his Presidential aspiration in this year's election. He has expressed optimism of winning the legal suit against the Electoral Commission. Dr. Lartey is in the Ashanti Region to meet with the party's parliamentary candidates to encourage them to intensify their campaign ahead of the election. In an interview with our GBC’s Nicholas Osei-Wusu, Dr Lartey said the GCPP was able to file for 11 Parliamentary candidates by the close of nominations on the 30th of last month and there is the need to motivate them to win the contest. Dr Lartey spelt out his vision for Ghana's Socio-Economic development, saying the Ashanti Region remains critical in the development plans of a GCPP government. GBC
