Black Starlets draw hosts, Guinea & Cameroon The Black Starlets of Ghana have been drawn in the same group with hosts Madagascar, Guinea and Cameroon in the 2017 African U-17 Championships. A draw for the final tournament which was held on Monday, 24 October at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo saw the two-time competition winners placed in Group A. Defending Champions Mali are in Group B with Congo, Angola and Niger as all eight teams seek for a place in the semi-finals of the tournament. Ghana qualified to the tournament by after beating Burkina Faso and Cote d'Ivoire in the qualifying matches. Ghana could qualify to the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup to be staged in India if they manage to make it to the semifinals of the tournament. The tournament will be begin from April 2-16 in Madagascar. GFA
