Poultry Production is important in agricultural sector

Poultry Production is an important sector of the Agricultural Industry which provides not only employment but also the protein and vitamin needs of the people.

As such, in the developed world government and the private sector collaborates effectively and efficiently to produce quality chicken and eggs at affordable prices.

Is it possible that Ghanaian poultry farmers can rise to the task when given support?

These and other questions were posed to a female poultry farmer, Gifty Rodor who said Ghanaian poultry farmers are doing well and are even selling eggs at forty pesewas at the farm gate and wonders why the retailers would keep on selling the egg at one Ghana cedis. 

Mrs. Rodor also suggested what government can do to support the industry to grow and make the desired impact on the economy.
