President Mahama Inaugurates Kpando Water Supply The people of Kpando and its environs can now heave a sigh of relief as potable water is brought to their homes. The district has been water starved for years and efforts to build a water system project has proven futile. President Mahama, arrived in Kpando in the Volta Region as part of his four day campaign tour of the region to inaugurate the project. On behalf of the Chiefs, Togbe Akom expressed gratitude to the government. He appealed for some other projects that need attention. President Mahama, noted that when government took office water access to the Volta region was thirty percent. Now with the water projects constructed in the towns and districts, access has increased to more than seventy percent. Togbe Akom asked the people of the region to ignore the vile propaganda that the region has been neglected. GBC
