Revisit constitutional provision for swearing in of speaker as acting President

The Speaker of Parliament, Edward Doe Adjaho has proposed a second look at the constitutional provision that calls for the swearing in of the Speaker as acting President in the absence of the President and Vice President. 

He said though well intentioned, the practicality of summoning Parliament at certain times becomes a bit thorny. 

He said this in Parliament at a symposium in memory of the late Speaker, Justice D. F. Annan.
