New UHAS Vice Chancellor inducted into office

A Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Ghana, Professor John Owusu Gyapong has been inducted into office as the second Vice Chancellor of the University of Health and Allied Sciences, UHAS in Ho.

Professor Gyapong who until his induction was the Pro Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation and Development at the University of Ghana took over from the foundation Vice-Chancellor of UHAS, Professor Fred Binka, whose term of office ended in July this year. 

Inducting him into office, the Chairman of the Governing Council of UHAS, Professor Kofi Anyidoho urged him to strive towards achieving great success as he assumes a very challenging role in his professional career.
