UG SRC calls on government to stop utility charges Students of the University of Ghana have resolved to vehemently oppose any attempts by authorities of the school to charge them any amount on utilities on their school fees bill. This follows the University's draft proposal of making each student pay a projection of GH¢2,326 as utility bill for resident students and GH¢922 for nonresident students. This amount as proposed by the Finance Directorate of the University of Ghana for the 2016-2017 academic year. In light of this, the SRC of the school is calling on government to waive off students from any utility charges. GBC
