Use barcodes in labelling products - Businesses urged

The Ministry of Trade and Industry says it will strictly enforce laws that enjoin every company to have bar codes on their products.

This is because bar codes are the fastest and most reliable means of data collection. 

Speaking at the 10th GS-one Summit in Accra, Director of Industrial Development at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ben Heh said bar codes are also critical in promoting accuracy and effectiveness in business transactions.
