Accelerating global efforts to end HIV/AIDS Ghana’s Vice President, Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur joined other countries meeting at the United Nations Headquarters in New York to scale up global efforts to address HIV, the virus which causes AIDS. The World leaders have committed to stamping out the AIDS epidemic by 2030 as part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Vice President, Amissah-Arthur addressed the High Level Meeting on ending AIDS. The High-Level Meeting in the UN General Assembly opened last Wednesday.
