Wa to host 2016 May Day celebration

This year’s May Day celebration will be held at the Jubilee Park in Wa in the Upper West Region. 

It will be on the theme “Election 2016: The Role of Workers in Securing Peaceful Elections for National Development”. 

A statement signed by the Secretary General of the TUC, Kofi Asamoah said President John Mahama will be the Special Guest of Honour at the National Parade. 

The statement said Regional May Day Parades will also be held in all the ten regions. It called on all working people of Ghana to join in the celebration.
