President Mahama says conversion of Polytechnics into Technical Universities is a purposeful agenda

President John Mahama has inaugurated an ultramodern teaching and learning system laboratory and a faculty of Engineering for the Ho Polytechnic. 

The laboratory is expected to offer students hands-on practical training. Students will train in electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering. 

President Mahama again stated that the conversion of the Polytechnics into Technical Universities is not a mere change of name but a purposeful agenda. 

President Mahama has officially ended his accounting to the people tour of the Volta Region. 

Meanwhile, the President has cut sod for work to start on the Juapong-Jolo-Adidome and Juapong-Abutia road. 

The ground breaking ceremony ended his three day tour of the Volta Region.
